Fall desserts inspire mod Cup’s fall menu. That being, the owner, Christopher’s favorite fall drink is their Dark Chocolate & Pecan Latte with a pie-crusted rim. “We mix our espresso (which is thick and rich on its own) with a dark chocolate base and a simple pecan syrup. For the rim, the option of dark chocolate or white chocolate is presented, which we then line with a blended pie crust as an added texture and taste for the drink,” explained Chris. His favorite part of fall is switching from mostly iced drinks to cool down to be able to have a hot latte or pour-over and taking in the leaves changing at Riverview-Fisk Park on a crisp day. He recommends pairing their cinnamon roll with this drink. He feels that the cinnamon offers a nice contrast to the drink!mod cup coffee jc

Located in the Hamilton Park Neighborhood, O Kafe is the perfect stop to make to grab their signature Strawberry Cream Latte. While you’re there, enjoy a stroll through Hamilton Park to admire the foliage. Owner Jung Oh thinks O Kafe’s Strawberry Cream Latte paired with an almond croissant is the perfect duo. “We think it’s perfect for fall.  The warm colors of the Strawberry Cream Latte mixed with the neutral colors of the croissant prepare you for the fall weather at the end of a hot summer. The dried strawberry chips sprinkled on top of the drink and the crispy almond on the croissant is the perfect ingredients for a mixed balanced flavor every time.  If you’re a real fan of almond, then perhaps having the latte made with an almond milk base will help to blend the flavors better with the almond croissant,” shared Jung Oh. o kafe
