This house also known as the Apple House was registered as a historic place on August 16 of 2006. It is a place that represents and celebrates the culture, history, and the heritage of Jersey City since the18th century. It is known to be one of the oldest and significant buildings that have relations with the Revolutionary War when George Washington and General Lafayette held a meeting in 1779.
