Profile
St. Lucy’s Emergency Shelter is a supervised 24-hour, 7 days-a-week, year-round emergency shelter facility for single women and men that offers emergency housing and food for those in need. Within the first week, clients meet with staff to assess their current situation. Once their needs are determined, clients are referred to one or more of the following services: welfare, SSI, unemployment, job training and job search, education or mental-health/addiction-treatment programs. The shelter provides two meals a day, clothing, a shower program, and outreach services for the unsheltered homeless.
*Accepts volunteers mostly on Wednesdays & Thursday from 5pm-6pm
