Riverview Community Garden

Riverview Community Garden (RCG), is a non-profit organization that has been an integral part of the Jersey City Heights community. Directly next to Riverview-Fisk Park between Bowers and Griffith streets on Ogden Avenue, it is an open-plan, fenced community garden edged with trees and shrubs. It is home to the beautiful work of some thirty resident gardeners who tend individual and communal plots of vegetables and flowers. RCG is committed to providing gardening opportunities and activities to citizens of all ages and incomes; with educational programs and collaborative partnerships with other community organizations, RCG provides a nurturing and stabilizing presence in the park and the neighborhood as a whole.
