Liberty Humane Society

Liberty Humane Society is an animal shelter and humane society in New Jersey. Their mission is to foster a community of compassion and respect, and provide animals in need with a chance at a lifelong, loving home.

Volunteer Opportunities: Foster care, Cattery Ambassador (socializing with the cats in our care), Kennel Ambassador (assist kennel staff with laundry, dishes, and the organization of the kennel area. You will walk, socialize, and bathe dogs as directed by staff), Animal Visibility Ambassador (advertise the animals in the community by taking pictures, filming videos, and making/posting fliers of individual animals), Humane Education Ambassador (provide information to the community on certain animals), Special Projects Ambassador. You must complete a volunteer course before starting your volunteer efforts with Liberty Humane Society.

Volunteer Hours:

Tuesday- Friday: 8:30 am to 7:00 pm

Saturday, Sunday & Monday: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
