This dance class series is designed to introduce students to the social folk dance of Egypt know in the West as Belly Dance. Students will be taught the cultural and historical origins of the dance as well as the movement vocabulary of the dance involving the arms, hands, torso and hips. This is a fun, low impact form of dance and exercise suitable for both sexes and all ages. It will increase stamina, coordination, muscle tone, relive stress and naturally increase endorphins, as well as being a fun way to experience another culture!
